A converted single-kiln oast house sleeping four, standing in the old yard. Two bedrooms, an AGA kitchen with a small butler's fridge, a boot room holding the American-style fridge with its ice machine, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and an electric drying rack. One well-behaved dog is included, a second may be considered by prior agreement, and the estate begins at the door.

There is no cot and no high chair at the property, so bring your own if the ages call for them.

Two shepherd’s huts, hand-built by Plankbridge, planned for the meadow beyond the second tree line. A living hut with kitchen, sitting space and wood-burning stove; a sleeping hut with a double bedroom, children’s bunk room and shower room. The two form one private family stay and are never booked separately.

  • Beautiful historic property, super conveniently located on the edge of a cute village just outside Tunbridge Wells. Easy to get to/from, comfortable and very lovingly furnished with absolutely everything you would need

  • This was the ideal getaway for us for a couple of nights. Peaceful, private and a lovely property that felt like home. The garden was perfect for our new 4-month old puppy – completely enclosed so he could explore without any worries. It allowed us to just stop and do very little. There are a couple of local pubs within a short walking distance (recommend The George) and there's lots of land adjoining the property for walks etc. Sharon was a super helpful host so this really was the perfect little break. We'll definitely come back.

  • My husband, youngest son, his friend, the dog and I all had a lovely rest at Sharon’s beautiful Oast House in Frant. Sharon was super quick to reply to any queries and she made us feel very welcome. The farm itself is secluded and set back from the road with its own private drive and coded gate. This leads you into the farm entrance and buildings. Sharon was right there to welcome us in and Ali helped set the boys up on their console as they were having some difficulties. Absolutely everything was spotless, all amenities high end….. was almost too scared to use the beautiful Aga! Tea, coffee, sugar, herbs & spices all available for your use and there was a couple of pints of milk ready for us to have a cuppa after our journey. Can’t fault the stay, the cleanliness, the host responsiveness (& friendliness) Particular kudos to host Winston 🐾 🩵 Thanks Sharon & Ali, we can’t wait to return soon 🙂

  • We booked this beautiful house for family members to stay in during our wedding celebrations nearby, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is gorgeous, well-presented, and set in a stunning location. It provided a comfortable and relaxing base for our family who loved their stay. The host was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process and during the stay, making everything easy and stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.
